Our story begins with a man named Archer Sterling and his wife, Lana Sterling. Archer is an office worker for MG Meyer in Cleveland, Ohio. On Fridays, Archer likes to gather around the local bar and grill with a few of his favorite co-workers for a guy’s night out. His friend, John Cena, is a subscriber to a gentleman’s club magazine that is called Hopper. Every year, Hopper holds a drawing and invites one thousand lucky winners to their headquarters, a mansion in Los Angeles, California. During their first round of drinks on the first of October, John brings up the drawing to the group. “Hey guys,” John says with a smirk, “have you guys heard about the contest that Hopper is holding this year?” Archer replies out of curiosity “no John, but please, do tell. I really want to know where you’re going with this.” “Well, every year Hopper holds a contest to invite people to their mansion out in L.A., and I have a form with one of our names on it.” “Alright,” Archer says with a grin emerging from his mouth, “let’s drink for it. Lana greeted him at the front door with a nice surprise. She had set up a romantic dinner with candlelight and soothing jazz music in the background, all of which would culminate in a happy ending to a day which he would not forget. Now being extremely drained, he went to sleep at 9:30 P.M. so that he would have time to pack the next morning.
