The 4 C's are key factors in developing student success in life. In the article, it is stated that critical thinking can lead to a higher level of concentration, deeper analytical abilities and improved thought processing. There will be many situations in education, work, and life where the answers are not always obvious. Students will need to be able to critically think to help them solve issues. The 4 Cs will help ensure that students are better prepared to enter the workforce. It is obvious that schools need to implement the 4 Cs to help shape our students to employees that are equipped with the 21st Century skills.

This will help students fully possess the skills they need to be successful in the real work by the time they graduate from their K-12 education. If teachers are able to implement project-based learning, students will gain the information and skills by working for a prolonged period of time to examine and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge. All of which, target the 4 Cs.

One method that educators can use to work collaboratively to improve their students' performance of the 4 Cs is by incorporating information from each subject. For example, an educator can assign an assignment where the students will need to master the skills of English, Math, and Science. Educators will need to come together and decide on what assignment they can use to help implement these core subjects. Once educators come up with the topics they can teach around those areas to make sure students are improving their performance on the 4 CS.
