The Industrial Revolution, lasting from the late 1700s until the early 1900s, was possibly one of the greatest time periods in this world’s history. This time period caused people to think more and dream bigger. From these big dreams rose up inventors, entrepreneurs, and business owners. The Industrial Revolution brought many new inventions and production processes, but along with great new things come great terrible horrors. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily positive consequences for society because of the new production methods and what they produced, it was actually a negative thing for society.
“The most important of the changes that brought about the Industrial Revolution were (1) the invention of machines to do the work of hand tools; (2) the use of steam, and later of other kinds of power, in place of the muscles of human beings and of animals; and (3) the adoption of the factory system” (Industrial Revolution). The Industrial Revolution was a big event that happened in Europe. Those three main changes impacted everything in a huge way. The Industrial Revolution in Europe was a positive occurrence that changed how products were made and how people lived their everyday lives.

For instance, kids were well fed, educated, and clothed. There were plenty of negatives, as well. One very sad example was the machine injuries that happened to both children and adults.

During The Industrial Revolution, citizens were forced to work in polluted factories with dangerous and terrible conditions.
The Industrial revolution contributed to better living conditions and better economic status. It sparked many cultural, social, and economic changes throughout the United States and Europe from the 18th to the 19th century. Vital inventions that contributed to modern technology can be seen emerging like the steam engine, light bulb, and the telegraph. More jobs opened up for the poor helping the economy boom, and living conditions overall were improved. The industrial revolution had a good effect on the typical worker at this time.
The Industrial Revolution’s effects can be argued either way for the better or the worse. Many people have their different opinions. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily negative effects for the society because of the horrendous living and hazardous working conditions, it was actually a positive thing for the society. Industrialization’s positive effects included economic growth, new inventions that increased productivity, and a higher standard of living helped people live better and more efficiently.
It has improved children’s working conditions by creating new laws, making quicker production of resources with new machinery, and created clean living conditions for people among others. This is important to know because industrialization has such a big impact on the world. Some people can argue that industrialization had a negative impact on people during that time period. Despite this reason, we have made so many advancements because of the industrial revolution. The machines we have now help us to mass produce goods which contribute to the wealth of many countries.
The industrial revolution was both positive and negative for our country. Despite the fact that there were many good things that came out of about the revolution there was many more negatives for the people at the time. A few of these consequences included low and unequal pay, child labor, no job guarantee, and poor living conditions. These situations made it obvious to the government that something needed change, but it took a while for them realize it resulting in injuries and even death. Although it did take awhile for them to realize what they needed do to prevent this, eventually they did figure out laws to help stabilize and grow in in a healthy way.
The industrial revolution increased steel production which allowed the US to make a profit from trading and use the steel to improve transportation, farming and buildings. Industrial cities had many factories that burned coal which caused air pollution and increased steel production led to increased coal usage. Workers in the factories had dangerous, long work hours that they couldn’t protest. The industrial revolution had a large impact on working conditions at the time. Workers had to sign a yellow dog contract which prevented them from protesting unfair treatment and limited their freedom of speech.
The Industrial Revolution was a period of time that revolutionized the world. It brought new systems that are used to this day. It was a period of new inventions and innovation. New medicine came out making peoples lives healthier and cleaner. The benefits of the Industrial Revolution were definitely worth all the costs because it created a middle class in society.

One way it was positive was that it improved travel, trade, money, and the production of items. One way it was negative was that people were overworked, underpaid, and worked in dangerous areas and worked with dangerous equipment.
Something that was good about the industrial revolution was that there was more workers and people could get payed more. Things that were bad was that little kids could. That’s bad because kid get hurt for example, for kids who worked on farms would ride on horse rakes and easily fall off and get crushed. Kids would get overworked after working 12 hours a day.
The Industrial Revolution was a time of exponential growth in the world. This time included the invention of modern machinery, and modern techniques that is used in everyday life today. Although there were many benefits to come out of the industrial revolution, there were just as many problems with the industrial revolution. There are many great things that came out of the Industrial Revolution, one of the biggest being the increased production rate. Due to inventions such as the steam engine, it decreased the time of making products which in turn, raised the economical state of America.
The Industrial Revolution made radical changes in the lives of many individuals during this time. It divided the population into 3 groups: the children and the working class who suffered the most hardships, and the middle class who benefited from it. The middle class had slightly more pleasant experiences than the children and working class of the industrial revolution. The middle class included factory owners, doctors, lawyers, and skilled workers.
A major debate among Historians is if the Industrial Revolution was helpful or harmful. The industrial revolution created a big change in the society of America. It was an age of innovation and creativeness for the inventors of the world. It was an age of sorrow and despair for the workers of the world.
