CanGo. Com CanGo is a new up and coming small business that growing by the minute. CanGo’s executives recently began to look into new ways to expand their already successful business. Selling new and used books has proven to be a great market for them, but they were looking into expanding their inventory to keep up with competitors, Amazon.com, Barnes & Nobles, and Book-a-million. CanGo’s CEO and visionary, Liz Blackman and senior leadership opened the company to Initial Public Offering to increase capital.

Minerva “Min” Green is a junior in highschool who is huge on old classic movies. Her and her best friend named Al both relate all their life event with movies, they share a love for cinema that really creates a strong friendship. Min had met the co-captain of the basketball team named Ed Slaterton at Al’s birthday party and claimed to show no interest in him. They are two different people from two different worlds but that is what made them so intrigued in each other.

Book Wizard is a free service offered by scholastic. It can be accessed through their website: http://www.scholastic.com/bookwizard/or through Book Wizard Mobile, a downloadable application available for the Ipad, iPhone, and Android devices. Book Wizard provides a way to access Scholastic’s database of information on over 50,000 children’s books. Teachers and students can either enter a title, author, or keyword when using the website, or scan the barcode with a device such as an iPhone or iPad through the mobile app. The books are not limited to those published by Scholastic, though in my experience using Book Wizard, it seems the vast majority of the books are those published by Scholastic.
Global Green Book Publishing has dealt with many problems since their opening. They are not delivering their eBooks to their customers on schedule, not providing quality texts, and unable to control costs (Case). These problems all started to overwhelm GGBP once they got a new customer, a local university. Since GGPB was suffering from these blights, the university was unhappy as their eBook products reached campus late for use by professors and student (Case). After assessing GGBP, in my professional opinion, they need to dismiss all part-time employees and have only a workforce of full-time employees which will be more efficient, reduce errors, and create a better working environment for everyone at GGBP.

(Ingram, Laudato, and Volpe, 2016, pg. 187) The article goes into detail about how the iPad and Kindle vary based on capabilities and how each would best suit a consumer. I believe the details of this article fully support the thesis as each device is described thoroughly through comparing and contrasting. Even I was informed on the specifications of each of these devices as I read despite already having prior knowledge on both.
