Beethoven used some of Haydn's famously known components This includes Haydn's "drumrolls". They can be heard with all the broken chords. This is specific because Haydn was Beethoven's teacher and influenced his early career. He also follows classic sonata form. He starts with a slow introduction, and follows through with the form. However most composers in the classical era didn't necessarily mess too much with modulations or modal mixtures. Many composers including Mozart and Haydn used them, however didn't heavily use them like Beethoven to add more texture to his music. Also the movement seems to have more of a poetic vibe to it.
