How Did Dr Mengele Use Twins Experiments

The Twins Experiments that took place in Auschwitz were some of the worst in history, performed by Dr. Mengele also referred to as “The Angel of Death.” These experiments took place from 1943-1945 thousands of twins died in Auschwitz at the hands of the experiments. With no idea what was going on twins were torn from their parents and were injected and tormented with unknown substances. So many died due to these experiments mostly of sickness or purposely killed. These are the worst experiments but we still use the findings to this day (Bülow). Once everyone arrived it took around thirty minutes from the time people stepped down from the cattle car to be sorted (Sans). Most were automatically sent straight to the gas chamber if they weren’t sent to die they would be sent to hard labor where they would most likely die of starvation (Rosenberg). Nazi’s at Auschwitz was always searching for twins to take to Mengele if they lied and said they weren’t they’d be sent to the gas chamber or hard labor. She was transported to the hospital which was just another barrack filled with “people who looked more dead than alive.” Eva had a high fever, swollen arms and legs that were very painful and huge red spots all over her body. Now instead of measuring Eva or drawing blood with injections they measured her temperature and examined her charts. Eva was soon unable to walk and faded in and out of consciousness trying to reach a water fountain across the Barrack. When Mengele came to inspect her he didn’t even examine her he just peeked at her chart and said “too bad she’s so young, she has two weeks to live.” Eva eventually recovered but if she had died her sister would have been given a single injection of chloroform to the heart
