Franz Joseph Haydn was born March 31,1732, in Rohrau, Austria. He died May 31, 1809, in Vienna, Austria. Joseph Haydn sang in the choir when he was little. When he was 8 years old, a musical director invited Haydn to sing in the choir at St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna. His family accepted the offer. One day, Haydn got another offer from an italian composer named Nicola Porpora. Again he accepted. Joseph was very good at sight reading. He learned how to play the harpsichord, a keyboard and string type instrument. He learned how to play the violin, a string instrument. He also learned how to play the organ, a keyboard instrument. This song represents how God created the world. When God created the world, you would think that it was a peaceful and happy time. This song is exactly like that. This song is very slow, happy and peaceful. He wrote this song to show us how great and loving God is. That is why he created us. This song also represents when adam and eve were created, and what they did in the garden. He also wrote this song to show us that we are all sinners, and we should love God for all the things that he has done for us. This song teaches me how amazing God is, and that we need to repay him. The first thing that comes to mind for me, is when God created all the animals of the land and sea. I always especially think first of the lions and the giraffes. Then I think about all of the animals walking into noah’s ark. So thank God for what he did for us. In this song, I think about adam and eve in the garden. I think about how the devil tempted adam and eve, and the devil represents the snake. Towards the end of the song, it reminds me of God shining down on everyone. Everyone is happy and rejoicing.
