Haydn wrote most of his string quarters in sets of six. The third in the set is known as the Emperor because the second movement is based on the hymn he wrote for the Austrian Emperor Franz II. As stated by Arthur Ashe “True heroism is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost.” To be a hero one does not need to wear a cape and defend against injustice. Rather all that must be done is to fight for the greater good. Heroes do not fear failure; they approach each situation with a goal and strive to achieve that goal. A true hero may not always succeed but has the bravery to stand up and fight for what is right.

Looking at Johann Sebastian Bach’s and George Frideric Handel’s lives, we could find some similarities, like the fact they were both from Germany, but there are also several ways in which their lives differ. Johann Sebastian Bach was born and grew up in a musical family, receiving an early musical instruction from his father. At that time, it was very common for people to be taught music by their relatives. Very young, he is encouraged to pursue his education in music, and soon obtained his first post as organist. George Frideric Handel, on the contrary, even though he was showing musical gift during his childhood, was not encouraged to pursue his education in music, but was encouraged to study law instead.
Both J.S. Bach and G.F. Handel use different aspects of music to compose important pieces of music. The baroque period is often known as the time when artists exaggerated their motion and produced drama through interpreted detail. Both of these composers used this baroque style to convey messages through their music. The similarity in their music was that it is in a spiritual manner. J.S. Bach’s style was a harmonic and motivation manner, which Handel’s is more of a narrative.
G. F. Handel and J.S Bach were both composers who were born in Germany. Bach came from a family with a rich musical background, while Handel did not (Kamien, pg 143). As for the texture of these compositions, both are characterized by a polyphonic and imitative texture. Additionally, string instruments are used in Messiah and Wachet Auf.

One night, his parents heard music wafting throughout the house in the middle of the night and knew not from whence it came. When they searched the house, they found George playing melodies on his instrument. This was one of the first times that he would experience music for himself and lead him to have a career that would produce one of the most inspiring pieces of all time: the Hallelujah Chorus from the Messiah.
The Baroque period was identified as the “Age of Absolutism” because it was a period where rulers practiced their full power to control subjects. Also during the Baroque time frame music became more leant about where it was played. Instead it only being played at churches and occasionally in some courts, it was being played at specific functions and operas. It was at this time that operas were established for the first time in history. Musicians at this time were employed for aristocrat’s courts, churches and operas although they were considered high positions yet still viewed as servants.
How after he escaped, he went to Australia, worked as a sheep farmer with others and made a huge fortune. He was touched by when Handel gave him the wittles and a fille on the marshes when he was a young boy. With the huge fortune he made, he decided to use all his wealth to make Handel a gentleman. After Handel told me this, I was quite astonished. He was Handel’s mysterious benefactor!
