In 1929 the Great Depression occurred. Immediately afterwards the Wall Street Crash caused a worldwide down fall in the economy. One of the many countries that were affected badly was Germany. The German people had put a lot of hope and faith that the government would help and resolve the economic crisis. During that the government was a democratic government. The president at the time was President Hindenburg. Unfortunately the government was not as successful at giving Germany a solution to the problem at hand.
