Isaac Newton Motion, everyday we are constantly moving keeping our bodies in motion. If we aren’t moving other things around us may be even if we don’t see it. We owe the laws of motion to the influential scientist, Isaac Newton. Isaac Newton’s nationality is British English and was born on January 4, 1643, in Woolsthorpe Manor, United Kingdom, but on the Julian calendar his birthday date is December 25, 1643. His discoveries and laws affect our everyday life to say the least. Through his discoveries not only did we get the laws of motion, but also calculus and work in optics among several other things. Isaac Newton’s father was a prosperous farmer that passed three months before his birth. (biography.com) After his father passed his family faced many adversities, the reason being why he grew up in a poor family.(biography.com) Expectancy for survival was very low for Newton, because he was a weak premature baby. (biography.com) Even though he was not expected to survive he was able to overcome the odds and was growing as any child would. During this time Isaac Newton was enrolled in The King’s School, Grantham, which taught Latin and Greek. It is to be believed that the school could have impacted in advancing Newton’s skill for mathematics. Shortly after the passing of his stepfather, Newton’s mother pulled him out of school so he could become a farmer. Newton failed and found it monotonous and continued his education.(biography.com) Isaac Newton had a really fawned interest in mathematics, optics, physics, and astronomy.(space.com) Some of the people that inspired him were Nicolaus Copernicus, Isaac Burrow, Rene Descartes, Robert Boyle,Galileo Galilei and many more
