Mathematics is the universal language in which you can use to communicate with anyone in the world. Math for many is in it's own way, a poetry of logical ideas. Regardless of occupation, math is a necessity within life as because everything requires a multitude of different algorithms and problem solving skills. Terence Chi-Shen Tao is a mathematician who has contributed to mathematics for nearly all of his life. Along with developing theorems, Terence has devoted his life to his practice.
Terrence, otherwise known as Tery, was born in Australia on July 17, 1975. At the age of nine, Tao attended university level math courses in substitution of his typical school work. At the same age, Tao scored a 760 on the SAT math section. His amazing

Math was no doubt Tao's passion and in order fulfill his desires, he decided to further his education in subject. With the amazing skills terry had developed, he knew that he must attend a university equally as prestigious. This led to Tao attending Princeton University to receive his Ph.D. in the field of mathematics. Later on Tao also received his bachelors and Masters degree from Flinders University. This extensive education allowed Tao to develop and prove various mathematical thermos, which later on brought him a multitude of accolades.
Tao's ability to solve extensive math problems and do so in a proficient manner is effectively how he contributes to the mathematical community. As of today, Tao has contributed to proving 6 different theorems. The most famous of which being the Green-Tao theorem which he proved in 2004 Alongside Ben Green. In short, this theorem states that the sequence of prime numbers contains arbitrarily long arithmetic progressions. The multitude of work the Tao has carried out has not gone unnoticed. Over his career, he has received a total of 22 awards and recognition for his mathematical breakthroughs. Even with all of Taos amazing accomplishments, he still has the same ambition and drive as he did when he was just a
