Pablo Picasso the legend of art
The art world would have been completely different if Pablo Picasso had not come along. The reason art would be different is because without Picasso’s influence, the art world would be less interesting and less self-expressive. Pablo changed the would not only with his art but with his influence. Pablo Picasso positively influenced modern society by making people rethink how they look at art, and created new techniques and systems for art.
First, Pablo Picasso positively influenced modern society by changing the way people look at art. As quoted by Elizabeth Ripley," Picasso invented the style of mixing paint and plaster." ( Ripley 26 ). Before this invention, the technique was never seen before, thus it would have been much longer before the style was recognized. As stated by Picasso " Young art will be sincere paper." ( Ripley 6 ). This supports the thesis because this quote might be very influential and encouraging. As quoted by Britannica school " Picasso's art strayed away from the path of normal art." ( Pablo ) The cite connects with the thesis because if he hadn't strayed away from normal art he would not have created new types or have been a legend, the myth Pablo Picasso. As stated by Grolier Encyclopedia " Painting, graphic art, and ceramics were all profoundly and irrevocably affected by hi genus." ( Pablo Picasso ) This proves these would not have been affected if it were not for his genus. Pablo Picasso invented cubism. Cubism had critical impact on the state of painting, if not for its existence painting would be changed forever.
