Throughout history, art has been very important. The biggest time for art, though, was the Renaissance. Many artists got their start in this era. I believe that all of these people were amazing artists, but Leonardo was the most significant artist of his time.
In the 20th century, Picasso moved to Paris, France to start his own studio. Many artists called this time the Blue Period of his adult career, which was from 1901-1904.
