Although these farmers rebelled against the government, nevertheless they stood up, aimed to help country, and their actions had lasting effects affecting the government. These protesters stood up against the government. It is important to realize that “ the people who have stepped up to demand rights for themselves and others are most likely to be put in jail.” These jails they were put in were often far away from their homes.
Bob Ross: The Modern Painting Phenomenon If you 've ever watched PBS, you likely at some point have heard of Bob Ross. A painter born in Florida, Bob hosted The Joy of Painting, a half-hour show that run from 1983 to 1994, in which he painted a picture and encouraged the audience to paint along with him. It was a simple, but effective idea to get people excited about painting, and it was a very successful show. Sadly, Bob passed away due to a diagnosis of lymphoma in the early 1990s, which forced him to retire.

Diego Rivera: Mexican Painter Diego Rivera was a big man both literally and figuratively. He dominated the Mexican art world from after the Mexican revolution until his death. In the online article entitled, “The Painting on the Wall”, by Peter Schjeldahl, we see Rivera revive and put to use the antique medium of fresco painting. The Fresco painting used things such as pigments to impregnate a paste of marble, dust and water-treated lime (Schjeldahl).
MC Escher and Pablo Picasso both have some similarities, are also very different. Though they are from the same general era, the tone of their artwork, their drawing styles, and some of the types of media they used.
