Introduction
Since the period of the 50’s television has had a significant impact on Australia through the influence of America. The Australian television industry started in the year 1950’s creating a strong foundation of TV and an introductory to a prospering industries change of nature throughout time. Even though television was already based in US and Britain before World War 2 occurred this brought major influences to Australia through the ownership of TV spreading popularity at the end of war all around Australia creating many struggles towards the industry in the period of 1950s and overcoming it through good and bad ways in the period of 1960.
Beginning of Television
In the year 1950 – 1954 the introduction of television was under the authority of the government policy. Two New tiered television systems TCN9 and HSV7 was discussed to be introduced with a beginning progress through ABC network being the initial national service in Sydney, with the approval of the Menzies government, The Royal Commission was established to provide information of the reception quality improvement and placing the best commercial TV stations which lead to positive results into many areas, to placing ABC commercial station in areas of Sydney and Melbourne and assuring

Cable satellite TV was brought to an introduction with variations of choices in program selection amongst the audience. Everything became serious at this point when it came to production controlling cost rates and tighting budgets became increasingly common, reality shows were the 1st to be released in Australia showing situations based with real personalities experiences, and introducing the new trends of technology upgrading into the digital age time frame. By the end of this decade technology improved extremely releasing free to air networks across globally with multi
