The Roman Empire lasted hundreds and hundreds of years. The beginning of the Roman Empire began in 44 BC. The Roman Army at the time was one of the most powerful armies in Ancient Rome. The Roman Empire was expanding at such a rapid rate because the Roman Army was conquering new empires and territories. Although the Roman Empire was one of the most powerful empires at one point, the greatest problem Rome is facing is their strong armies becoming very weak due to the corrupt, ignorant rulers and government of the Roman Empire.
One factor that contributed to the fall of the Roman Empire, was the decline in population due to epidemic diseases. The decline in the population meant less people would be in the military, so the military was now weakening
