According to many historians, one of the moments in history that influenced the most the world today were during the industrial revolution; especially in Great Britain and France. But 'To what extent did the British Industrial revolution differ from the French revolution?' To answer this question one has to look at the growth of both countries and what caused each country to have a revolution in the first place. The industrial revolution began in the 18th century and ended in the 1870's approximately. Prior to that manufacturing was often done in people’s homes, using hand tools or basic machines.
