During this time, the people started to use natural resources such as coal and water to develop factories and machinery, which led to the making of cheaper goods. It was accompanied by many inventors who created technology to develop the production of goods.
The Industrial Revolution happened in the mid-1700s. It came after the Scientific Revolution, which had many big innovations like telescopes, microscopes, and thermometers. Many people were eager to participate in the Industrial Revolution. Most people worked similar jobs on farms and were unhappy. They had bad hours, a repetitive life, and didn’t make much money.

Even though many people did die because of diseases but it show us we needed to improve our manufacture. During the Industrial Revolution the factory system was invented, this made producing products easier and faster. The factory also made the products easier to get and decreased the cost because if there are more of something it is cheaper and easier to get. Also, during the Industrial Revolution transportation was made easier by the invention of the steam engine and of the locomotive. Lastly, buildings and structures were made better because iron and steel became easier to smelt and shape.
Something that was good about the industrial revolution was that there was more workers and people could get payed more. Things that were bad was that little kids could. That’s bad because kid get hurt for example, for kids who worked on farms would ride on horse rakes and easily fall off and get crushed. Kids would get overworked after working 12 hours a day.
