The Manhattan Project changed the world's outlook on several different ideas. There was the most evident factor of the bomb's creation: its use. The fact that any government in any country had access to a new deadly science with the help of its own scientists was eerie in general, but the initial use of the bomb was to end World War II, and looked like a victory, until you look at the immense destruction and human devistation that was left behind by it. The Manhattan Project allowed this tragedy to be mimmicked by any superpower who wanted, which ultimately led to the Cold War, an arms race that was meant to show off this power and scientific advancement, proving that either side could bend the world at their own will.
