Change: To make or become different. Change can happen to anyone including fictional characters. Tom, the main character in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer has changed not physically but morally. He thinks about others and not just him anymore. Tom Sawyer has gone through many ups and downs and has learned many lessons thought the book. Much like Tom Sawyer i have also changed throughout seventh grade. In The Adventures of Tom Sawyer the main character, Tom has changed significantly. Tom started of thinking he was fine on his own, he thought people didn’t care for him and he wasn’t always wanted. After he returned for Jackson’s island he noticed that everyone missed him and that he was very well appreciated. Tom also thought that bigger is better, meaning he thought having more things leads to happiness. Before seventh grade I was so nervous about the homework for this year. The first day of math class I could tell that this year would be hard. For the first week I felt like a lost bunny. After a couple weeks passed I realized that once you get the hang of it, its rally to that hard. In the summer all of my older friends told me that seventh grade is the worst year out of all the grades. I came in with a negative attitude, but later that changed.
