World War 1 changed the United States by giving workers higher pay, and the industries that had been making the war supplies instead of the government getting the money they got to have it. Also new technology changed the United States after World War 1. The pay wage increased incredibly a lot especially after the 1920’s. The men and the women had plenty of money to enjoy life and do whatever they wanted unlike before World War 1.
Although there are many important events in the United States’ foreign policy, I have chosen three that I think are the most significant. Between the years of 1890 and 1922, I believe that World War I, the Panama Canal, and the open door in Asia had the most impact on the US foreign policy. Without a doubt, World War I which began in 1914, changed the United States foreign policy, as the world was now split into two sides. The beginning of WWI can be traced back to the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand on 28 June 1914. However, there were a number of factors contributed to the rivalry between the Great powers that allowed the encompassing war to break out.
World War I was a big moment for America, a time when an nation involved itself in world affairs and began the rise to the economic and military power that America is today. The people of America were affected by world war one in many ways. They were first limited to what they could buy including sugar so that they can provide rations for countries. Full freedom for colored people was a problem in other words there were second class citizens. Finally we went into an everlasting chain of fighting were all these countries were fighting and sticking up for each other and it was just a huge big fight that america didn't need to get involved in.
Relying on Others People have utilized other people to help them to get what they desire the most. Whether that is the means of survival, or for luxury, people have relied on each other for as long as two people have set foot on earth. In the book Night by Elie Wiesel and Maus by Art Spiegelman both books demonstrate characters using one another’s resources and connections to survive. Both books show it is easier to overcome trials when one relies on one another, rather than oneself. Safety, it is a necessity for everyone and everyone desires it.
WW1 had a huge impact in america. New technology was invented and political and economic changes happen. Manufacturing, production and efficiency has increased. In world war 1 had an impact on every aspect of society. American felt a good sense of nationalism and patriotism during the war.

We know it changed because they went from a period of isolationism to being involved in world affairs. We are going to look at how the war changed American society, why they entered the war, and the foreign policy change. During World War 1 a lot changed about American society.
Compare and contrast strategy (incl. technology/air power/naval power/land power) between WW1 and WW2. The use of air power as a strategy of war was highly contingent on the development of technology and became more and more significant to wars as technology developed. When compared to World War I, the second world war saw an improvement of technological capacities, leading to an enhanced production of aerial power along with the emergence of new tactics and strategies of war.
The way of America’s life and society had strikingly changed during the time of World War 1. Men were needed at war and the women were left at home or were nurses at war. Many people were even ignored because they had labels on themselves (ex; color, gender, nationality, religion and weight). African American, Asian Americans, Japanese Americans and women (Minority Group) were among the groups that experienced a combination of racism, segregation and prejudice. Being able to overcome negative stereotypes and then still perform roles for the high class giving you this negativity with respect is one of the biggest problem you might of faced if you are a minority.

Many circumstances led to the shift in American position regarding entrance into the war such as, The Zimmerman note, and German U boats. World War I Impacted American society by changing and improving the roles of women in the U.S and a new found use of propaganda. The Zimmerman note was a letter and or note issued from the German foreign office in January 1917 that offered a military alliance between Germany and Mexico in the event that the U.S entered the War and fought against Germany .

This is the effect that World War I had on America. This is the war in which we stated we were neutral and then entered the war looking for a peaceful outcome. Wilson wanted to have democracy for the world, but he didn’t want to do what was necessary to achieve his goal. He thought that international law and organization would do the hard work of convincing all countries to convert to democracy. If he would have done this then it would have been national interest in which we was running the country for instead of moral and legal ideas.
