After I watched this video I realize that how intersex people had a shame to their selves. This very teachable video that I never watched. It is very hard to see those people to live like this hard and difficult life. As a human being I can feel their pain that they have to go through this difficulty from childhood to adult development. When I was a child, I knew someone who lived in small city, in developing country, is an intersex individual. She identified as a woman, and she was afraid to go out to play with other children and afraid of going school because she was different from other in her genital. Of course she was a woman like me but she had both. her dad left her with her mother because she was an intersex child and he thought that it is genetic disorder. Her mom raised her and never got married being for her mom. Since it is developing country, most people are not educated except people who lived in big city. When she was getting older, she completely isolated herself from the society for limited time and she killed herself. I never think that being an intersex is hard like these, …show more content…

When they grow up they will not found their true identity, either a boy or a girl. As I explain above I knew someone who is an intersex individual. She hadn’t had a surgery when she was a kid that helps her to know her real identity. For most intersex people, either male or female identity is one dominant over the other, they don’t have equal feeling at the same time. One person need to be either a boy or a girl. So in puberty stage they can be able to Identify their sexual status except some intersex people who have had the internal reproductive organ of female and male genitalia. Similarly, it is very difficult to identify their sexual status who have had male reproductive organ and female genital. At these stage, it is their right to have a surgery or
