Have you ever wanted to know what it is like to be a prisoner of war and a Japanese American internee? Well, in these paragraphs I will be talking about it. Then I will also tell you how they were dehumanized and how they resisted during the war. Then what happened to them when they were in the camps they were sent to? Like how they were treated in those camps they were sent to. Then the things that happen to them to feel dehumanized and why they did things to resist let's get into it. Many ways how POWs were dehumanized by the Japanese during the war. Are like when they get beat for every wrong thing they do. Also get sent to camps because they were POWs. Then he would get beat every time he had won and if he didn’t run he would get shot. He was also so weak that he could hardly run. Then many ways how the POWs resisted when they were at the camps they were sent to. Some ways they resist were by doing. Things like stealing things like newspapers so they can know what is going on with the war. Then they would also steal canned foods like canned tomatoes and more. Then they would also map out the area around them, like the camp and the land. So they can know how to get around without getting caught. In some ways, the Japanese-American internees were dehumanized by the Americans during the war. Were like when they were sent to camps. Then they also had guns pointed at them at all times. Then they were forced to stand to the American flag with guns pointed at them. Then the kids were not told where they were going. Then the Americans made them look bad so that they would scare people. Then some way the Japanese-American internees resisted during the war.
