Romeo and Juliet’s tragic end Has it ever crossed your mind why a story can be so tragic and emotion provoking? The famous play, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, is one of those stories that provoke emotions. In the play Romeo and Juliet are on different sides of a feud between their respective families, the Montagues and Capulets, but by fate they fall in love. The story comes to an end, when seconds away from finding each other at last they kill themselves. Shakespeare makes Romeo and Juliet's death particularly tragic by, making the characters very likable and through the timing of their end. Throughout the story Romeo and Juliet become very likable through their combined sonnets, romantic encounters and their devotion to each other.
