Abortion one of the most controversial issues, its ongoing controversy continues to affect America today. The movement includes two dominant sides, “pro-choice”: those who are for the option of abortion or not and “pro-life”: those who are against abortion. The debate has trespassed over many territories including political, ethical, and moral. Though the area is of little comfort there are many positives that could potentially follow the debate and conversation. Abortion in ancient times was practiced to control gender, population, and property rights of patriarchies. However rarely in these times were women able to give their two cents about the abortions and how it would affect them. Although generally legal, the morality of abortion is still taken heavily into consideration. These debates often influence American society and how the society will decides its views on the subject. Politically the process of an abortion is much defined and heavily coated with legal documents. These papers include the protection and privilege legally granted to citizens by the government. As a nation America strives to develop more than it currently is to expand its way of thinking and to evolve as the society changes. Pro-choice is the proper way to handle the situation. In cases such as rape the born child could actually be a trigger for the mother, this would cause tremendous mental strain on the mother which would result with conditions unfavorable for raising a child in. Abortion can save lives, for example a woman who is too weak to give birth could lose her life in the act. If she was pro-choice however she would be able to decide whether she would rather take the risk, or rather focus on healing herself for a healthier birthing process in the
