Abortion, which is also known as an induced miscarriage, is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy which often occurs within the first twenty-eight weeks of the pregnancy. For many people, this is a very convenient way of covering an unforeseen pregnancy, but for others it is a tragedy that they do not tolerate since it is the destruction of precious human life.
One of the most controversial topic in today’s society is abortion. Abortion is the removal of a fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy. Abortion will always remain a topic in which everyone will not agree upon. Abortion should be illegal in all states because murder is illegal in America; abortion affects the women mentally and physically; and abortion goes against most religions. Even though abortion is immoral, it still goes on in today’s society because it is legal in a number of states.

Abortion has been a controversial subject in many societies through history on religious, moral, ethical, practical, and political grounds. It has been banned frequently and otherwise limited by law. However, even when abortions are legal on request in some countries with certain limitations, in others they are still banned, though continue to be common in many areas, even when illegal. But no abortion law or international treaty by itself can ensure that a woman can safely terminate a pregnancy that is unwanted,
Abortion has been a topic of debate all around the world for decades. Whether it be about the legality or morality of the topic, it’s controversial. It really shouldn’t be. A woman should be able to make the choice to get an abortion if she wants to. To begin with, if it’s the woman’s body, it’s her choice what she does with it.

While on the other hand, people think it is the woman's right to choose to keep the child, from a case of rape, incest or health issues threatening the mother’s life.
The topic of abortion has always been very relevant in society and has affected it many ways because of the major impacts that it has had on some lives. According to the National Abortion Federation, a federation with experts on abortion, when states in America began creating laws against abortion in the 1800’s, women used to go to extreme measures to get illegal abortions (National Abortion Federation). Currently, abortion is only legal in some states which causes a lot of problems. These legal restrictions have caused much debate about whether the government should support women’s rights to abortions or not. There are two sides of the debate; pro-life and pro-choice.

Ultimately, the decision to end a pregnancy shouldn’t be taken lightly, but should be the woman’s choice, and no one else’s.
Abortion has been an issue for over two centuries, but with the evolving society we live in abortion is becoming more and more justified. The information on abortions is often misconstrued. The 1970’s sparked the women's movement and demanded that abortion be legal because they believed in order to achieve political, social, and economic equality with men women should have one hundred percent control over their reproductive organs. Something that was once a right was transformed into a privilege almost overnight. Thirty seven states refuse to fund money for abortions due to women who have been victim to rape or incest.

The two sides of this subject will never agree will the other because they only are focused on what they have to say about the matter than on the points the other side has made. This issue will continue because abortion appears to be advancing as the years go by, which is a sign of no extinction. Since the abortion debate will not cease, the effects of the contradicting sides will only developed stronger arguments to belittle the others opinions about the
