One of the most controversial topic in today’s society is abortion. Abortion is the removal of a fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy. Abortion will always remain a topic in which everyone will not agree upon. Abortion should be illegal in all states because murder is illegal in America; abortion affects the women mentally and physically; and abortion goes against most religions. Even though abortion is immoral, it still goes on in today’s society because it is legal in a number of states.
If murder is illegal in America, why is abortion still legal? The definition of murder is to kill a person or someone in a deliberate and unlawful way. If it is unethical to take an innocent human being’s life, why should it be any different when taking the life of a baby fetus.

I believe God doesn’t make mistakes, God only makes miracles happen. Pope John Paul said the quote “The Magisterium of the church has constantly proclaimed the sacred and inviolable character of every human life, from its conception to its natural end” to show how sacred each life is and what each life is capable of doing in the world. I believe no one has the authority to take a life other than God because he brought life into the word so he has the right to take a life. It’s a sin to go through abortion because the woman just participated in the act of murder and will always feel guilty till the day she dies. Abortion is an eternal sin because in the bible taking one’s own life is considered a sin that can never be forgiven so the killing of an innocent child will result in harsher punishments from God. The bible even states that a fetus is a person from the moment of conception, Jeremiah 1;5 so going against the bible is equal as going against
