Each year that passes there are major debates about extremely sensitive topics throughout the world, and each year there are clashing opinions on whether or not a certain belief is superior to the other. These topics are considered controversial, and they always manage to sunder a crowd of people rather easily. One of these sensitive topics is abortion. Abortion, which is also known as an induced miscarriage, is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy which often occurs within the first twenty-eight weeks of the pregnancy. For many people, this is a very convenient way of covering an unforeseen pregnancy, but for others it is a tragedy that they do not tolerate since it is the destruction of precious human life. One reason for this may be a lack of financial stability or maturity. Persons who do not have enough funds to cater to the needs of an infant might feel as if it is best to abort the baby since they will not have to worry about where they will receive income to care for the newborn and how they will raise a healthy baby. Along with the lack of financial stability comes maturity. If the person knows that they are not willing to work and risk their leisure or personal time for the sake of the child, then they might choose abortion instead. These persons only consider their needs instead of the child’s, and this shows that they are not mature enough to think of someone else over their own self. Another reason may be to prevent the birth of a child with birth defects or severe medical problems. Some women may find it easier to abort the child because they believe that life will be much difficult for them when they become independent. They find that it might be hard for the child to adapt socially and mentally or even physically due to certain medical conditions and birth defects. For this reason, they abort the child before they even get a chance to enter the independent stage of life. Although there are many reasons for abortion, one must remember that all of these reason and decisions come with
