Imagine a woman who got pregnant, but it was not her fault. The state tells her she can not get an abortion because it is illegal. Imagine the woman crying because she knows that she can not give the child a perfect life. She does not have enough money to support the child. She decides to get an illegal abortion. She is going to get it done at home where it is not safe. What happens if she messes up and the baby is not aborted right, and then something bad happens to the baby, or worse the mom. All of that could be avoided if the government had only made it legal. Making a woman have her child is like the woman being held prisoner by the government. There is no proof that the fetus can feel pain. The statement saying the reflexes are them in pain is wrong. The Synapses are not even developed enough yet to be able to feel the pain, like a fully developed person can. The Cerebrum is the most important part of the brain, and it is not developed before six months of gestation. Lungs do not develop until birth is near. The fetus is technically an embryo.
