Overturning Roe v. Wade is Justifiabe When considering the overturning of Roe v. Wade, many arguments are for and against abortion for multiple reasons. To some people such as pro-choice activists, abortion is right because we are overpopulating the world, but to others such as pro-life activists, it is murder and everyone deserves to live no matter how populated the world is. There are also arguments between pro-chiocers and pro-lifers whether or not having an abortion can cause mental health problems such as depression. People also claim that the baby in the womb is just a clump of cells and they are not fully living because they have not developed all five senses in the early stages of the pregnancy. His argument contains that the baby inside the mother’s body does not have the right to be inside of her and should not use the mother's body to survive. (Hendricks). Although we all would not be here living on this planet without using our mothers’ bodies to grow and survive and be birthed, therefore his argument not making logical sense. To continue to grow and survive, we need our mothers when we are inside the womb and outside of the womb. Boonin supports Roe v. Wade, which just recently got overturned. Roe v. Wade was first ruled in 1973, which protects pregnant women and gives them the right to have an abortion no matter the circumstance of their pregnancy. The controversy over Roe v. This baby that is growing in the mother's body will become a child and then an adult and could have the most amazing life. That child could end up being super successful and loving their life, and that will never happen to those 1.2 million babies aborted each year. Also, just because it is the mother's body and she has the right to do what she wants, doesn’t mean that the baby growing inside of her doesn’t have the right to live, because everyone has the right to live, including those unborn children.
