It all must begin with sparks in the air, a lowered inhibition, or in some cases an inability to fight off a predator. The chances of conceiving a child when something like this happens, is one in four trillion. In countries all around the world, there's a chance to re-nig on this and never have the chance to know such an amazing gift from god. Some people don't have a choice, some do and just didn’t want a child at the time being. For whatever reason, a young child's heartbeat is seldom heard. To hold the fate of an unborn child is something very powerful, and selfish at the same time. All around the globe, there's a process of abortion which gives you such opportunity. You know, finish college, get married, have children and buy a house with a white picket fence and dog. It all seems to be achievable, assuming you play your cards right. Even then, there's still the undaunting possibility that you must go down the gruesome route of abortion. What about the alternative situation where the man's thoughts and feelings aren’t even considered in the matter? If a couple has been cohabitating, in a committed relationship, or been dating awhile, why wouldn't the male's opinion matter in ending what could be a human being? In most cases, all that goes out the window simply because the female is the one who must bear the pain and emotional unstableness after the procedure. One could say that the male has been irrelevant the whole time when he doesn't have stake in the matter. A good question to ask is why is it fair for a woman to make the decision to be a parent or not, but men don't have a similar choice? These two very things aren't good for society, when on the other hand, people not just think abortion is, but they lobby their beliefs, picket, and vote for political leaders based on this very premise. The modern surgery can release a future mother from the burden of the undesirable baby delivering after a sexual insult or incest, but nothing can heal the soul. Abortion was one of the most talked about subjects these past few years, with heighten exposure during the 2016 elections. A woman has every right to choose what to do with her body whether she will save the fetus or terminate the fetation, because of the solid reasons. A woman is person primarily with desires and goals in her mind, once she gets pregnant, for most woman it wasn't even a choice or something that she was gearing up for. It takes a lot to raise a child, and to want to give them a happy life that you may or may not have ever had. Abortion wars and disagreements will always continue because there will always be a mother somewhere that can’t or won’t want to raise her child or go through with giving birth. There will always be cases of incest, rape, or health issues that will come into play on deciding if aborting the fetus is a better option in the long run. Both parties have good points, as they are take into account either fighting for the mother's rights or giving an unborn child a voice when they otherwise can’t speak for themselves. Until every woman is on a form of contraceptive, there are no more rapes, or there are no more incidents of incest, there will always be unwanted pregnancies that exist.
