Abortion is not the way to go. Yes maybe some people might have gotten raped or something and i know they might not be ready for a baby. But you should never do abortion. It is not the childs faught.
The world today is a world divided. On a very general scale, it could be divided into those with conservative views and those with more liberal views. It is an age of those who previously had no voice being able to tell their side of the story, and being supported as they do it. The issue of abortion is certainly not a new controversy but it has recently been thrown into the spotlight again as the presidential election took place. Women’s bodies have once more become a battleground for the public instead of their private sanctuaries.
Imagine a woman who got pregnant, but it was not her fault. The state tells her she can not get an abortion because it is illegal. Imagine the woman crying because she knows that she can not give the child a perfect life. She does not have enough money to support the child. She decides to get an illegal abortion.
As the first year of Donald J. Trump’s presidency draws to a close, it’s natural to look back and reflect on changes the country has seen since he first took office. As was the case during the campaign leading to his election, Trump’s presidency certainly hasn’t been without controversy. This is particularly the case in many of his actions thus far, including many policy changes seen from the early days in his presidency. Topics including immigration reform, healthcare, and climate change, all topics Trump passionately argued during his election campaign, are now seeing action in policy making under the new administration. Immigration reform has been especially important over the first year of Trump’s presidency.
Whose choice is it? Organizations such as “Planned Parenthood” are telling people that abortions are completely fine for pregnant women to get. There are many “Pro-Life” groups opposed to this program. Abortion is not morally correct because it is unfair to children that do not have a choice, a fetus is still human, and killing humans is murder, and couples can prevent pregnancy with birth control or abstinence. Pro abortionists argue that women should have a choice in whether or not they want a child.
Abortion is a situation where a female ends pregnancy by getting a fetus or embryo removed before it can survive outside the uterus. I believe this is a right every women should be given because in the U.S alone their are millions of rape cases every year, and this is one way a woman can end an unwanted pregnancy. There are many people in the United States that believe abortion should be illegal, these people are known as conservatives. However, liberal’s believe abortion should be legal, they believe the government should fund a woman who cannot afford abortion. In people approach of abortion I remain as a liberal.
It all must begin with sparks in the air, a lowered inhibition, or in some cases an inability to fight off a predator. The chances of conceiving a child when something like this happens, is one in four trillion. In countries all around the world, there's a chance to re-nig on this and never have the chance to know such an amazing gift from god. Some people don't have a choice, some do and just didn’t want a child at the time being. For whatever reason, a young child's heartbeat is seldom heard.
Abortion, which has been filled with controversy is the ending of pregnancy by removing a fetus or embryo before it can survive outside the uterus. An abortion may be caused purposely and is then called an induced abortion. Number of abortions increases rapidly. In some countries abortion is legalized; I strongly disagree with this idea. When it comes to killing a life whether it's human or animal there is always a remaining feeling of guilt over the fact that you have just committed a crime; it is wrong because it's between the matters of life or death.
Abortion is defined as, “The removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy”(“Abortion” 1). As you can see, when the dictionary defines it, it avoids the words “killing” or “life” or “baby.” In my opinion, they avoid this because the government has not been able to make a decision over what an abortion really is. Some say it is murder, some say the baby has not grown or isn’t alive so it’s not murder.
As I walked to my locker recently, I noticed someone had put up the chains representing the number of daily abortions again. These simple paper chains and the signs that accompany them bother me. Abortion is an extremely personal decision and it isn’t a topic that can be easily summed up with a single statistic. I dislike the recent closing of abortion clinics and the focus of politicians on abortion. I don’t understand why the government should make laws regarding how women treat their bodies.
Abortions Many people may not believe abortions are a serious matter but I believe that it shouldn’t even be considered an option. Giving birth to a baby is probably something you didnt have planned but even giving up your baby to a loving couple that might not be able to have any kids is a better option than just terminating their life. I understand that there might be some many different cases and stories about why people get an abortion but it's seriously a inhumane way to do things. This isn't fair to your body because of numerous things and it isn't fair to the baby or anyone else that are struggling on having kids.
Abortion rights are a big deal these days, and everyone seems to have their own opinion on the matter. In 1973, the Supreme Court made abortion legal in the US with the Roe v. Wade ruling. But the recent Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision in June 2022 has caused controversy, as it overturned Roe and led to many states restricting or even banning abortion altogether. Now, there's talk of putting the issue of abortion rights on the 2024 ballot, which means the voters will get to decide what they think is best. Protecting certain rights is a major concern for citizens across the United States, and that includes Louisiana.
The need for birth control has grown due to increased sexual activity in teens. Each year 850,000 adolescent girls become pregnant. 41.3% of pregnancy are teens 15-19 years old and 20% of abortions are teens. With the growing use of birth control in teens in the last decade teen pregnancy rates are steadily going down.
Teen pregnancy is defined as, “pregnancy by a female, age 13 to 19, which is understood to occur in a girl who hasn’t completed her core education—secondary school—has few or no marketable skills, is financially dependent upon her parents and/or continues to live at home and is mentally immature” (Segen’s Medical Dictionary). And while California ranked 30 out of 51 [states]- in 2011 (HHS), making it not as much of a concern, it is still an issue regarded in today’s society. “In the United States, nearly 72 out of 1,000 teenage girls ages 15 to 19 become pregnant each year, according to statistics from the Guttmacher Institute” (All Psychology Careers). “The national teen pregnancy rate has declined almost continuously over the last two decades” (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services). Teen pregnancy, though not as common as it once was, is still an issue in some high schools.
The teen pregnancy rates can decrease in one or two ways and that’s if the teens would not have sex and become more contraceptive users or both. In 2010 over 614,000 U.S. teens became pregnant and 82% explained that their pregnancy was unplanned. The teen pregnancy rate has declined in the nation and as whole. The majority of teen pregnancy ocurs during 16-19 years of age. Although for the same time period, abortion was not an option for most people seeing the way their religions and belief of the parents were made up.
