Agency and Employment affects every working American, but what does it mean? This is the crux of this paper. Answering this question and elaborating on this question using analysis. Those three points are independent contractor, employment at will, and employer employee. Also, what is and what is not considered employment will be evaluated.
Agency is a “contract under which one party is authorized to contract for another” (Ashcroft, Ashcroft, & Patterson, 2014, p. 311). There are four items which can create a relationship agency. They are appointment, ratification, estoppel, and necessity. Agency are important due to the complex landscape of modern businesses. Employment agreements can be enacted in a multitude of ways. Such a verbal, an example would be asking your neighbor if they would like for you to mow their lawn for a one-time compensation. Another method for engaging in employment is through email or letter. Implied is also another employment agreement, which can lead into a more official employment contract.
