I have finished reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. This book is about a little girl named Scout growing up. The reader follows Scout through her evolving relationships, her encounters with her strange neighbor, and her realization that her hometown is not a faultless place. In this paper I will be evaluating.

G- Symbolism: Boo Radley and Tom Robinson are both symbolized by the mockingbird. Y- Tom Robinson R- He is innocent very likely the Ewells lied no evidence still found guilty despite these R- he is no trouble

Boo Radley and Tom Robinson are both symbolized by the mockingbird. In To Kill a Mockingbird it states that “it is a sin to kill a mockingbird” since they never act in malice and only give (Lee 103). Tom Robinson is like a mockingbird in that he is innocent, and he is an upstanding man. Harper Lee does a great job of depictig Tom as a decent man. Calpurnia says that Tom is a good man, when Atticus asks for her input on his character. He also acts unnecessarily cordial when dealing with Mayella. Link Deas says that Tom has never caused any trouble. These events point to Tom being an upstanding man. Harper Lee does a wonderful job of portraying Tom as innocent. One can see that he is likely innocent, because it is even more likely the Ewells lied. The Ewells had more motive
