Have you ever wondered how the dress code effects the students at school? Dress code can effect students by telling them that they shouldn’t wear clothes like tank tops, low riding jeans, short shorts, and much more because it will be distracting to students. I understand that schools just want to make sure they have a proper school learning experience, but it is bringing down the student’s self-confidence. Also dress code can often be promoting rape culture. This also promotes sexist behavior that can hurt a young teenager’s self-confidence and mind. Confidence is one of the main factors of the teenager brain. If they don’t feel good about themselves, then they won’t do good in school or sometimes in life. When children don’t have confidence then they think that the world is giving up on them and they want to give up. Many school in the United States at least, have a dress code.
