Throughout Exodus, God is always there for Moses and the Israelites, even though the people seemed to have forgotten Him. He is constantly looking out for all of the Israelites and genuinely cares about them. When He first appears before Moses and orders him to go talk to the Pharaoh to free the Israelites, Moses voices his concern about speaking to the people because he is “slow of speech and tongue” and protests that God should send someone else in his place. Instead of getting angry, God kindly replies by having Moses’s brother, Aaron, assist him because He understands how Moses feels.
He also helps Moses convince the Pharaoh by releasing the 10 horrible plagues into Egypt. Those plagues also demonstrate how He is all-powerful and He is not a force to go against. During the time …show more content…

He later kills an Egyptian slave driver who was hurting an Israelite because Moses seems to feel obligated to protect his people from harm because he is still one of them. After he flees to Midian to avoid the Pharaoh’s anger and encounters God in the form of a burning bush, he demonstrates his determination and his persistence by devoting himself to convincing the Pharaoh to free the Israelites from slavery and leading his people towards a better future.
Despite the Pharaoh’s initial resistance to release the Israelites, Moses does not give up and his perseverance helps him get what he wants, as he eventually reaches his goal. He also is a strong leader. Even when his people complain and doubt during their journey, Moses always convinces them not to lose faith and to keep going. His constant optimism encourages the Israelites to keep moving forward. He trusts God wholeheartedly even when they are in a tough situation which proves how much he believes in Him.
