How Languages Shape Lives
Learning new languages may shape our ways of talking and thinking. Also every language to another has many different ways in how we treat with other people who speak the language we have learned. In “How Does Our Language Shape the Way We Think?” Lera Boroditsky explains how a new language can affects the way we are thinking. The new language (second language) is one of the most important points that can change the way of thinking. Most of people who speak more than one language think more positively then who don’t speak more than one language.
People who speak different language are more patient when they speak other language and make some mistakes. Learning a new language can make you better than before. For example, if you ask someone who speak the same language and he didn’t understand you will get angry very fast after the second time if explanation, simply because it is you speak

Nowadays, it is important to speak more than one language to be educated, to have friends and to get a good job. For example, before I came to the U.S. I only can speak Arabic which restricted me to communicate with people who can speak Arabic, but after I learned the English language I can communicate with most the people around the world also communicate with knowledge because the new language that I have learned changed the way that I was thinking. English language made me read more and more to be refined. As much as you read you become knowledgeable. Lera Boroditsky says: “could you still have friends, get an education, hold a job, [...]” (1).
