Environmental issues have affected Canada since the first settlements and still do to this day, environmental issues are constantly changing. The issues that affected Canada in the 80’s is very different than today. Today Canada’s growing population and economy is driven off of a successful production and export of natural resources. Canada’s population and demand for energy has never been greater. Therefore, Canada’s approach to these issues is always changing and people must be thinking on their feet, such as approaching climate change, and making sure there enough water and energy for everyone. When new things are developed, it changes the environment then in 10 years, there will be new problems and the cycle will continue, requiring us to come up with new ideas. Canada’s approach to environmental issues has changed over the years, because of constant growing population, new technologies always being developed, and ever changing social views and issues in our world.

People wake up in the morning with a new out look on the world or with new ideas ready to help the world. With the constant change in views and new ideas popping up all over everyday. The government and other groups take on these ideas trying to make them work. Since the beginning, we have been thinkers and idea makers who will always have new ideas and we try to make them work. Social issues are also changing everyday, such as farmers trying to keep their businesses going which is becoming harder. Many people’s jobs rely on the natural resources of Canada and we all rely in natural resources to live out are everyday life’s, such as water. If we start building around all these resources people would lose jobs.
