If it wasn't for world war 2. woman in Canada wouldn't be able to work men's job. However, world war two changed the world so much that nobody would imagine. woman would just stay home and cook, while men went to world war 2 to fight. Now since all men went to world war 2 nobody was there to make weapons, run farms and take care of the children. The government decided that woman can work hard as men too. however, the government gave women many different jobs. such as making weapons, nurse women, farmers, factory and many more. After world war 2 life changed. Women had the right to work as men and to do stuff like men. so they demanded equality right. And in 1982 Pierre Trudeau introduced the charter of right. From world war one to world war two, many things had changed; the techiniques and ideas, the warfare equipment, to peoples attitudes on the war. World war two was good, for the main reasons being: Canada's economy booming and Canada almost completely standing on its own two feet as an independent country. The results of the world war two, influence Canada's economy in many good ways. For example after the first war, the country went into depression for almost a decade. But after the second war, the economy was growing and improving. The lack of unemployment reduced. Furthermore, there weren't enough people for the jobs. In other words, there were more jobs than people. Like the first war, the men had to go to war, so the women took over mens jobs in factories. However unlike the first war, though, wages were paid fairly acceptable. Good wages, also reduced chances of unions farming and strikes. During the war , all the supplies were send to Britain. This did create a bit of a problem, now people had the money to buy things, but weren't enough to buy, since everything was send overseas.
