According to the Encyclopedia, Political culture is defining as “a set of attitudes, beliefs and sentiments which give order and meaning to a political process and which provide the underlying assumptions and rules that govern behavior in the political system.”
Today’s political culture have changed since the 1830’s but in many ways, it has stayed the same. For example, Liberty, the right to be free, if another’s rights aren’t abused are believed by the majority. Another example of a political culture would be “The Rule of Law” which is government based on a body of law applied equally and fairly, not on the notions of a leader.
