This course will show videos on just about everything when it comes to being a better college student. I have learned about reading and writing strategies also. Watching the videos provided on Blackboard helped me because I am mainly a visual learner, for all you visual learners out there these videos will help you too. My most significant learning experience from this course would be learning how to do better on my tests. Future students, just breathe and relax when taking tests, if you fail there is always a way to do better.
The biggest change I had to make was having to sacrifice a lot of time for my career. I have to train everyday to better myself and this causes me to miss spending time with my friends. The largest sacrifice of time that I have to make is in the summer. I spend most of my vacation traveling to different tournaments and camps, and I miss out on a lot of the fun stuff my friends are able to do. Committing has also affected my life because I always have to watch what I do and say because I am represent the Mississippi State Baseball Team.
Through my contemporary years of being teenager, I struggled with change. More specifically, “change” as in observing it rather than adjusting to it. While change may be a cliché that many other applicants might have written about, it is not a topic, from my perspective at least, to dismiss so easily. Moreover, the challenge I dealt with is crucial to who I am mainly due to the fact that I continue this process to this day. The change I came to know never had a specific time frame; instead, it existed with me since my birth.
I will change my school by helping my peers at problems or classes they struggle with in school. I will do this by making myself become a better leader so that way I can help lead people and inspire people to try harder and achieve. This shows how willing I am to help benefit my school. This also is an example of how you can also make a change and inspire people
So far, my life has been full of change. I was born in, India, and moved around for many of the early years of my life. I went from, Toronto, Dayton, Cincinnati, Wheaton, and finally, Elk Grove Village, in a six-year span of my life. These formative years were great for me because my parents always pushed me to do my best. Academically, I was pushed into performing the best I could such as trying my best in English class even though it was a struggle in the beginning.
Ok so i 'm guessing that you are wondering what is change. Change can be anything from, experiencing a new place or trying something new that you haven 't eaten before. Changing schools can be a big adjustment because you need to meet new people and get used to your new environment. So think about how change has happened in your life. For me I started playing high school sports.so my friends changed because I can 't really hang out like those who don’t play sports.
The ways I have changed in high school in high school have been very important to me because they have changed my life in many ways. I have changed in lots of ways and those include my clothes and my style. Last year when I was in middle school I used to wear glasses and look all geeky, but this year I have changed both my style and my look. So this year I have totally reinvented myself by changing the way I dress and getting new clothes because I felt I was starting to look kind of stupid. Another thing I changed about me were my glasses because they were really uncomfortable and made feel weird.

As being in high school for almost three years, I would have wanted to change my experience in my choice of classes. The reason why I would change my class choices, is that in ninth grade I wasn’t that pleased with being in the “normal” classes.
High school has impacted my life in so many ways. High School taught me so many things, from personal relationships to creating a relationship with my education. As a freshman, I made a huge amount of mistakes and I regret doing foolish things, but I’ve realized, I was only maturing into the young adult I am today. Freshman year, I was out of focus and I was only trying to find myself. I would also prioritize other things and ignore my parent’s advice, where they would tell me to focus in school and give it my full attention.
The transition from Primary school to Post-Primary school is a difficult time for anyone involved. It is one of the most drastic changes that students will ever encounter in the educational career. The transition is typically filled with anticipation and anxiety about homework, teachers, peers, academic rigor, school rules, getting lost, and many more factors. For the typical student, it is a whirlwind of emotion and anxiety. For students with special needs, these worries become even more prominent for the pupils and their parents.
As high school went on, the workload grew, but I also grew, so I was perfectly capable of keeping up with the work. This type of growth came rather easy to me. It was important for me to have one thing I could be confident with through all of the drama and chaos in my life. Growing in my community was not challenging thanks to the Live Algoma movement. Our community itself has experienced so much growth over the past four years, which allowed many students, including me, to grow in their community involvement as well.
High school grows you into the person you are. I have great memories, good and bad, some learning experiences and some that I’ll take with me the rest of my life. My high school experience has influenced my development as a person inside and outside of the class by making me more independent, choosing friends wisely and teachers motivating me to attend college and accomplish goals I have set for myself. I have gained my independence slowly throughout high school. The importance of being independent is being secure with who you are and what you believe in.
