More than 3 billion people are using the internet worldwide. The number has increased from 738 million in 2000 to 3.2 billion in 2015.The technology has been changing the way we live from the printing press to the internet, both had about the same impact on the world . The printing press had an impact on social where scientist come together to create the printing press, the economic flourished, and religion began to be negatively impacted when bibles when published ; much like the internet had an impact on social as scientist used the internet and work together to come and prove hypotheses ,economy improved greatly when people began to use the internet for almost everything , and religion is also affected negatively as people use the internet to contradict others beliefs. To actually invent this new technology the inventors worked together and used data that the Chinese had, to create it, but they also had to think critically to actually put all the pieces together. After it was done, they printed many books that spread ideas and shared them within Europe. It also had an impact on economy by making books cheaper because it took less time, unlike before where monks had to write one at a time and it used cheaper material instead of animal skin; therefore, now even peasant and merchants could buy them; not just nobles and other high ranked. Also because there was a high demand for books the trading flourish; it also created more jobs for people that were making and selling the books. Religion was one of the most discordant during that period of time as there were many copies of the Bible, which meant that now people had easy access to them as they were cheaper, this was a negative effect for the church because it was also translated to vernacular which meant that more could read it and see what it really said instead of a pope telling them what they wanted them to
