North African Campaign was a military victory for the Allies turning point in the war it caused major losses to the Axises military power. For example, 350,000 Italian soldiers captured, 130,000 Germans captured, 8,000 aircraft destroy, 6,200 weapons destroyed, 2,500 tanks destroyed, 2 million tons of supplies captured by the Allies. The losses were extremely different for the Allies. The Allies lost 300,000 soldiers, 1,500 aircraft, and roughly 2,000 tanks destroyed. The totals are similar when damage is considered but the amount of supplies commandeered by the Allies were extremely useful and the amount of soldiers captured decreases the amount of soldiers willing to fight preventing a longer war. The success of this campaign created a path way to Italy changing the outcome of the war. Then the successful elimination the Axis powers in Europe. The end of this campaign allowed the invasion of Italy and the elimination of major threats for the Allies and the relief the Russians needed to continue with their assaults on Germany. The Italian loss concluded the outcome of the war. The other campaigns and theatres were determined by this success. The other campaigns relieved pressure for the Allies during WW11 so did this one, what makes this so important was that the Germans were not able to advance through the other campaigns with this success.
