The reason you can be certain on things is because of the fact that he doesn’t wanna commit crime which is what the experiment was meant to do. He stops doing all of this and gives up the life of being criminal he wants to be a father which is the something the book says clearly. This does show how the claim might not be right since Alex doesn’t commit crime and it can show how you can be certain about things. The second argument that can be shown is the fact that he starts to show weakness with him committing crime since Alex would always go out all night and commit terrible crimes all of this can be shown from Burgess stating on page 68 “Look, droogies. Listen. Tonight I am somehow just not in the mood. I know not why or how it is, but there it is. You three go your own ways this nightwise, leaving me out”. This can disprove the claim that has been created since It's starting to show that you can be certain things which is the opposite of the claim with the experiment looking like it is beginning to start to take effect on Alex. But here is the problem with this argument the fact that Alex still does commit crime and the claim that is arguement is trying to disproves with it stating how it is impossible to be certain
