There are billions of people in our world — each unique with their own ideas and purposes. These thoughts are expressed through many varieties of hobbies and skills, such as creating music or solving complicated logarithms. In my eyes, however, the most expressive past time is writing. By putting pen to paper or fingers to keys, authors are able to manipulate both the spoken and written language in order to share important information and communicate one's feelings and emotions. In doing so, writers have the privilege of educating, informing, persuading, and entertaining their audience. It is not an effortless trade, however, for writing requires mastery of one's language and beliefs.
Growing up, I have always had a talent for writing, as conceded as it may seem. There was never a time where I struggled to express my thoughts clearly on paper, whether I was conducting a scientific report or scripting a narrative. I have observed my fellow classmates throughout the years, spending entire hours developing a single paragraph or constructing jumbled sentences, cluttered with misunderstanding and confusion. I realize that I carry myself cautiously, striving to analyze situations to act rationally and logically. Even when handling disputes, I word myself carefully, allowing little error or negativity to be traced back to me.
