The American dream is beautiful. It is something common to all people, but it is something that everyone views in different ways. Almost everyone can reach this goal depending on what it may be and if it is in reach. For instance, one who comes from a multi million dollar family with have an easier chance making money and getting a good job in the future then one who comes from a poor family. Though just because it may be harder to reach for one it does not mean it is an impossible achieve. The American dream is different for everyone, but they share some of the same aspects of it. Every American dream is somewhat different, but they all relate to the times that one lives in.
One person I know that demonstrated the American dream was my friend Asher. He was one of my best friends in high school until I left. Asher is an 18 year old that goes to a private school in Los Angeles. His has had rough times like getting kicked out of school, parents getting divorced, and having to take care of his younger sibling due to family issues. He took many APs got strait A’s and started to peruse many talents. He thought himself how to play the piano, how to dance, how to sing, and many basketball. With all of these efforts he got into the Ivy League of his choice, Yale. When he got this acceptance he was more than filled with excite. He never expected such an amazing outcome.
Asher fulfilled the American dream because although he had to go through the hard times of family stress and parenting his siblings he still fulfilled his college dream. He put his all in the present to get to the future and with this achieved all that he has dreamed and there is no better way to define the American Dream than this
