Good Morning Ladies, Hope you all made it through the storm without any problems. Attached is my calendar for this week but please note that I will be heading out to North Louisiana sometime today to help take care of my mom. Hopefully, I will be out less than two days. If you need me to come by this week and take a look at anything please let me know. Thank you all again for the work that you put into the SRCL audit-even though it is what you do on a regular basis-to see it all together in one room was very impressive! Below is a link I would like for you all to watch when you get a little time (about 5 min.) This is a short clip about the Olympic gymnast, Kerri Strug. You all have built relationships at your schools with teachers, administrators, and staff that support them in achieving the goals they have designed. You all have become anchors at your schools! The support you all provide to the different teams at your school allows teachers to gain better instructional techniques and administrators to use you all to provide additional support teachers. Finally, I noticed the coach on the sidelines (calm and encouraging) “You Can Do It.” The coach knew what she had inside of her because he had been there every step of the way. (Teaching, modeling, scaffolding, encouraging, providing corrective feedback, etc.) You have been with your teachers and administrators every step of the way. When you didn’t quite know how to support teachers or administrators you studied and collaborated with each other to build your own capacity to get the job done. During our SRCL implementation you have supported, encouraged, carried, and even provide some gentle pressing forward for some teachers to reach their goals. I have heard many teachers and administrators say that they wouldn’t have know what to do
