What is the best way to solve hunger in South Sudan? Hunger in Africa is a common known stereotype all over the globe, and yet it is a serious problem all over Africa. The common stereotype is often made into jokes and it's not just their hunger crisis, but also the way they live, the way they dress, and even their heavy accents sometimes. Unfortunately, some people will know only about the stereotypes of Africa until their last dying breath. In the world ranking of which country has the biggest hunger crisis in Africa, at number one it is South Sudan. South Sudan is located in northeastern Africa, with a population of roughly 15 million people. There are many ways to educate the citizens of South Sudan. One way to teach the South Sudanese people is to educate them on agriculture, which includes safe and healthy farming/food production. Another way is to educate the people on how to fix the current issue of hunger, is to provide education on water, and how to keep it clean. Lastly, another way to provide knowledge is to teach the economy and how to deal with foreign affairs. Starting with education on food and farming production, according to the FAO, South Sudan is facing one of the worst food security and nutrition crises globally. Over half of the population is projected to be in high acute food insecurity. Catastrophe (IPC Phase 5) conditions have also been recorded, with affected people having limited or no coping mechanisms”(Food and Agriculture Organization). This evidence proves that South Sudan is in crisis when it comes to food production. Not only is their food production bad, but also the citizens body is not well nourished due to this reason. Half the population is affected by this problem and this problem can continue to grow. It is almost like the horrendous food production is impossible to fix. It just takes one simple step to figure out this problem, and education is the right way to solve it. Another solution to the hunger crisis in South Sudan is to teach people about foreign affairs and how foreign affairs can help. Understanding foreign affairs can let many people of South Sudan know and acknowledge them with many things (USAID.gov). If the citizens of South Sudan learned foreign affairs, they could understand many things, including learning a thing or two. Such as language and social skills with foreign people. This can also lead to many job opportunities and knowledge of economics and law. Understanding foreign affairs, can help the citizens of South Sudan branch off into many other ideas
