Lizzie Borden was born on July 19, 1860 and died June 1, 1927. She was an American woman who was tried and acquitted in 1893 for the axe murders of her stepmother and her father in 1892. She lived in Fall River, Massachusetts with her sister, father and stepmother. Lizzie’s mother Sarah Borden was deceased and died when Lizzie was only 3 years old. Lizzie was born into a wealthy family due to her father manufacturing and selling furniture and caskets, and went on to become a successful property developer.
Aunt Henrietta Jackson daughter of Fielding W Jackson and Elvira Ellis was born in January of 1878. Henrietta was about 11 or 12 when her father passed away leaving her mother to raise 7 children the 6 boys and Henrietta. She was charged with assisting her mom with the children as well as household chores, also learning how to work in the fields. Education was paramount in the Ellis-Jackson home and like her mother she too began a career as a school teacher at Poplar Hill School.
In August 4, 1892 at 92 Second Street in Fall River, Massachusetts in the Borden house. Andrew Borden and Abby (Durfee Gray) Borden were murdered in their own house. Andrew was murder, while he was sleeping in the sofa. Police were searching in the house and led to discover the dead body of Abby in the upstairs bedroom. Both of them were a victim of a brutal hatchet attack.

Harriet Beecher Stowe Harriet Beecher Stowe was born in Litchfield Connecticut in 1811, on June 14. Lyman Beecher was her father, he was a very religious man. Her mother was not around when she was growing up, as she died when Harriet was a child. Lyman was strongly against slavery and influenced Harriet to feel this way too. In the Semi-Colon Club that Harriet was in, she fell in love with her teacher Calvin Ellis Stowe.
In Fall River a girl that goes by Lizzie Borden killed her parents out of anger and rage. This was a planned murder due to family friction and the relationship in the family. It seems apparent that Lizzie Borden killed her parents due to a bad relationship and friction between the three. Lizzie Borden killed her parents over a fit of range and an insecure mindset to be thinking. For example, she had a bad home life and relationship with her family members.

Susan B. Anthony (Susan Brownell Anthony) Susan B. Anthony was a prominent feminist author who started the movement of women’s suffrage and she was also the president of the National American Women Suffrage Association. Anthony was in favor of abolitionism as she was a fierce activist in the anti-slavery movement before the civil war. Susan Anthony was born on February 15, 1820, in Adams, Massachusetts, and before becoming a famous feminist figure, she worked as a teacher. Anthony grew up in a Quaker family that made her spend her time working on social causes. And her father was an owner of a local cotton mill.
Although some people might argue that Shirley Chisholm does not demonstrate leadership qualities, a closer examination proves that the former congresswoman was a strong leader because of her independence, perseverance,and willingness to take risks. Shirley Chisholm is a great leader because she blazed a trail by being the first African American Congresswoman. For example, “Chisholm indulged her maverick nature in a spectacular gesture. She became the first black woman to run for president” (Morin pg1).This proves that she was the first black individual in her field to run for president so this makes her a trailblazer because all leaders should possess this for the reason that no leader can lead from behind.
The location I chose for my inventory lab rotation is the Warm Springs Rehab Hospital in Kyle, TX. Warm springs rehab is a Hospital where patients are getting treated will and will be taken good care of and its also a place to feel comfortable such as a home. Which I spent two hours there. At the beginning, we were introduced to the Caroline Holt which is the dietitian of the Warm Springs Hospital, Caroline showed me and my partner the kitchen and she explained what they do on a daily bases, we also saw the dishwasher area which was very neat, then she showed us the cooking area which was next to the cooler, which is easier for them when they need to cook, which everything was organized and clean. The Life of Sojourner Truth: An Abolitionist Sojourner Truth, whose original name was Isabella Baumfree, was born in Upstate New York in around 1797. In that day, the birthdays of children born into slavery were not kept track of, so the exact date of Isabella’s birth is not known. She grew up in a slave family with 11 siblings. In 1843, Isabella Baumfree changed her name to Sojourner Truth.
