Chapter One Getting Ready for the Ball The wind blows lightly on the tall white trees, making the leaves dance. While the nearby birds sing. I always love seeing the forest come alive, the birds sing the bees buzz and the leaves move in the wind, all as though their keeping a secret. My mother says it’s unladylike to wander in the forest and that I should be at dance lessons or learning about history.
